The Ides of March

Beware of the Ides of March! Today, March 15th is the Ides of March, the "Friday the 13th" of Shakespheare's world! I was the only one in my class this morning to remember this, when quized on it this morning, (thanks to Mr. Teals, 8th grade literature class!)

Today is the day Julius Ceasar died, at the hand of his best friend Brutus. Forewarned, by the astrologer/soothsayers of Rome. So, if anything weird happens to you today--let me know! :)

Here is my freaky horoscope for the day: (jk)

March 15, 2006
Your insight, creativity and inventiveness are in full swing, E* , and new ideas come thick and fast. However, you might find yourself too caught up in boring, mundane tasks to do very much about it. Yet physical energy is plentiful, so you have it in you to take care of chores and then have time to do what you enjoy. If you remember to pace yourself, you'll produce results. Work too hard and you'll be too tired!

I was just thinking about the Ides of March before I signed on. Hmmm? Again, Mr. Teals doing! I think his crazy t-shirts are burned into my memory for life. I guess that is the spice of english life.

My favorite thing about the Teals t-shirts were that they were too small, and yet you would wear them over another shirt. Usually a button down. Hilarious! Also, today is Marta's b-day. And it always made it easier to remember because of the whole Ides thing. And my horoscope has some random metaphor about being stuck at a 4-way stop.

So true, I always think of Marta's because of the Ides of March as well. Also, some guys in my ward have coined a phrase for guys who wear shirts that are too small, they are "smediums." Or guys who wear size small/medium who really should be wearing a large/XL. LOL.

So, Mr. Teals was a "smedium."
