Just throw them away E!

Do you have anything absolutely impossible to throw away? Every time I am home I try to go through some things and try to get rid of them. Inside my hope chest is a box of corsages from all of the dances I went to in high school. Quite a few I might add. Beautiful, still un-crushed in their little tissue paper, and still pretty-ribboned. Why do I still have these? I don't know. I keep asking myself! Today, I am going to throw them away! For heaven sakes, I still have the pictures of the dances, do I really need the flowers? Although I think having flowers in my hope chest reminded me of something romantic from a novel or what I imaged a romantic person would have in there...reminants of old lost, forlorn loves....

Alas, I knew I would get that kind of response from you Panini! ;) I did burn them actually, sounds kind of melodramatic, but we have a burning barrell out behind the pool and shed ect. It felt oddly vindicating, but I am sure I will miss them in a few bits.

Well I have to admit I had mine up until a few years ago also. But I finally was able to part with them. I did make sure I had pictures of them. call me crazy. I even remember which one was my favorite it was the Gardina. I won't say who it was from though. lol

Marta, didn't you get that gardina from C.J. when you wore that lovely white dress sleeveless dress with the goldish top? ;)

I got rid of mine several moves ago, mostly because they took up space, were covered in dust and made me sneeze. I guess I'm not that romantic. Not that this surprises anyone.

Wow what a hussy I was. lol I can't believe I wore a sleeveless dress and it was from the seventies. Can't wait until I have to explain that one to my children. And yes you guessed right it was C.J. Oh to found memories that we can all talk about this weekend. Im getting super excited. I just wish Kacey and Cami could be there.

You guys make me laugh. Such memories. Did everyone like the same boys at one time or another?! My favorite corsage was my first one from J.R., it was obviously picked out by his mother and was huge! It was the pin-on kind.

Hey, Chad has a blog now too! Also, Scully, you are in good company, my sister threw her corsages away like next day after her dances, she was like, why would I want them? :)

Yes, mine have been all the way of the world for quite some time now. I just couldn't stand moving more than necessary for the umpteenth time. I know the practical in me took over once again. ;)

Leslie threw them away!! The next day!! I . . . am aghast.

What's Chad's Blog??? How did you find this out?? How do we get there??

Marta-- ;) I'm proud of you for wearing that dress! (though I was scandalized at the time ;) lol!) I wish I hadn't been so hung up on every tiny little definition of how to be a perfect person. I was way too strict for my own good. Now perhaps I am swinging too far the other way.

There's a link to a daily 'writing nag' blog on my blog - I've been to it the last two days and I really like it. -Thought you might be interested.

Actually Panini it was Brooke and not Leslie that threw her flowers away--oh, and Chad's blog is senatorbond.
