'Tis the Season
'Tis the season when I find just as many things I want to buy for me as things I want to give to others. For someone who loves shiny, sparkly, things, Christmas sections in stores just about do me in! Ornaments, cocktail rings, sparkly dresses, table runners, garlands, stockings! Happy shopping! Here is to self-control.
I have to completely avoid our outlet Pottery Barn store in the mall this time of year. Other wise, self-control gets left in the car. ;) So much Christmas cheer so little time. LOL
And why is it so hard to find the perfect gift for people sometimes? I recieved a perfect gift this past weekend, ah, French Philosophy, I can't wait to have time to read my new Foucault! ;) Now, back to what I am getting other people....jk LOL.
sometimes I have the opposite problem and can't decide which one gift to get the person. So there I am standing in an isle literally weighing my options. It makes for long shopping...hehehe
I am also a window shopper and love just grazing for hours, the holiday music, and hustle and bustle. I actually like the chaos of it all. I admit that for the first time this year I did 7 a.m. opening the day after Thanksgiving. My mom and sister were exhausted but I said, "but isn't it exciting?" :)
